<image:caption>Welcome The Sunderland Water District was established in 1950. We’re proud to serve great quality water to the people who live and work in Sunderland. In the last four annual Mass Rural Water taste tests our water has placed in the top three, winning twice! About The Sunderland Water District is a municipal water district, separate from the Town of Sunderland, and overseen by three elected water commissioners. Two aquifers source our water at two well sites, producing over 124 million gallons a year. Two storage tanks allow for 750,000 gallons of reserve water capacity to be distributed across 26 miles of water mains and nearly 900 services. Watch the video below for an enjoyable history and tour of the District!
